His parents aren’t tall either, so genetics isn’t what caused him to become the tallest person in the World. Sultan has three brothers and a sister, who are all of average height. One of them is education for kids, since he never had the opportunity to finish school himself. Sultan Kosen used to be a farmer, but now that he has risen to fame, he travels the World to promote different causes. Robert died at 272 cm / 8 feet 11 inches. And still today, he is the tallest person who ever lived. He is however dead now, died in 1940, but when he lived, he was the tallest person in the World. When I think of the tallest person in the World, it is usually Robert Pershing Wadlow who comes to mind. Isn’t Robert Wadlow the tallest person in the World?
